About

I believe that there has never been a better time to live than NOW. And with the right mindset you really can live your dreamiest most happiest life!

That’s why I’ve started this blog to share my own experiences and advice on finding and building your dream life, wherever it may be, and gaining true purpose and passion in your life!

There are so many exciting and lucrative international opportunities out there these days that there is really no reason for you to be settling in a sub-par life that bores you.

Hey! I’m Robyn, a Scottish ESL Teacher currently located in Poland!

From the tender age of 18 I got out of the bubble of my hometown to experience the world outside of my comfort zone. Since then I have lived, worked and studied in 5 countries across the world and finally feel like I have ‘found myself’ with a clear direction and vision for the future. I’m obsessed with the ‘Law of Attraction’ and ‘Manifesting’ as it has had such a great impact on my own life. I’m here to share all my experiences/advice/stories on finding purpose and passion in life overseas!

If you’re anything like me you’ve decided that you can’t and won’t live the next 40 years of your life in some office with some job in some company where you have no sense of purpose and no time for your true passions in life! I don’t believe we should have to wait until we are middle-aged and retired to travel, experience the world and do all the things on our bucket list.

That’s why, despite the raised eyebrows of some friends and family, I decided to not limit myself to one job in one location and, instead, actually find out what it’s like to live in different places around the world and start fulfilling my ‘one day maybe’ list.

Every year I feel closer to having my dream life, so for me; the knowledge, experience and friends I gain along the way are all part of my journey!

My Story

As a true creative person at heart, with aspirations for art, dance and fashion. My story starts around the fact that I didn’t believe in myself enough to follow my dreams as a teenager. I was influenced by other people’s opinions and negativity so ended up going down a less-daring more secure route of studying business at university.

Needless to say I felt pretty uninspired and unmotivated there, which made one thing clear for me; I would not be happy continuing on this path and had to find something more exciting to do!

Luckily at university I did enjoy a fantastic year abroad and made the most of other exchanges and trips which taught me a lot about myself and how much I love travelling, culture and languages.

Fast forward 7 years and 5 countries later and I have learnt so much about myself and the world! I am currently enjoying being an ESL Teacher in Poland with plans to move somewhere new later this year. I want to always be pushing myself out of my comfort zone to make every year a character-building experience where I can gain more and more life skills.

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone."
