The revolutionary art of attracting what you want into your life is changing people's lives everyday! Read about the most powerful methods used by successful people every day!

What kind of person doesn’t like to dream about amazing things they would love to have? Nobody, right!? We all love to daydream and imagine “What if?”, which is the first step to manifesting your dreams. What you can create in your mind you can create in reality, and that is the core skill these techniques focus on.

Robyn manifesting through visualisation

Whether it be a dream home, partner, job, car or financial situation, you first need to build your self-belief, motivation, and productivity which are game-changers when it comes to making your success inevitable.

These techniques focus on beginning and maintaining the kind of mindset and energy that will attract all the things you long for into your life and consequently; manifest your dreams! These all are tried and tested by me as well as many of the most successful manifestation gurus!

These techniques over time from a variety of famous books and people, who talk about success, mindset and manifestation. Many successful entrepreneurs believe goal visualisation was fundamental for them in getting what they wanted. So take a look at the appendix in the footer to see the main books/people who inspired me and for further reading on the topic.

Stylish working space with laptop, globe, flowers and vision board

This is a super creative and fun task to start you off! A vision board is going to be a way for you to collect pictures from the internet and magazines that represent everything you strive for in life. A collection and display of how your dream life looks.

You’ll need:

  • A pin board (super cheap from any local craft/homeware store)
  • Pins
  • Magazines
  • Printer (or printing service)

There’s also the option of creating an online vision board for your laptop or phone wallpaper. Pinterest is also a great online option. I love Pinterst as the number one place to get inspired! Check out my own vision board here.

Notebook to write down your goals and desires in detail

Now you have a general overview of what you want, let’s get specific. Use a notebook and pen to describe each part of your dream life on your vision board. Break it down into categories being as detailed/specific as possible. The more specific you are about your goals, the quicker and more accurate the universe can respond!

Here are some categories I started off with:

  • Appearance (skin/hair/make-up – including products I want to have)
  • Style (fashion – including specific items I want to purchase)
  • Body (fitness goals)
  • Job (including precise amounts you want to earn)
  • Apartment (location, furniture, views etc.)
  • Partner (don’t be shy in noting all the desirable attributes of your dream partner!)
  • Friends (people you want to meet, how they make you feel)
  • Family (building relationships, providing for them etc.)
  • Charity (how do you want to benefit the world? Make a difference.)

This is a personal book that you can build on, edit and check off over time as you begin to manifest things. Do one category a week to start off.

Notebook to write down what you are grateful for

This is a perfect way to start your day; by writing 3-5 things you are grateful for and 3-5 things you are hoping for. It really puts me in a great mood to start the day.

Just make sure to feel while you are writing. It is very important for all these visualisations to connect with your emotions and vibrate positively in order for them to actually work. So read it over at the end to imagine it all manifesting.

As an additional exercise, I affirm everything out loud, breath, and let it go…

“I am so grateful for….”

“I want to thank God/Universe, in advance, for…”,

“I am truly blessed that ____ is on it’s way.”

Girl writing diary

This is a sort of ‘make believe’ task and my personal favourite! Get a diary where you can write down what you did that day in your dream life! You’re going to write as if it already happened. Add opinions and emotions about different things to make it feel even more real!

E.g. “Dear Diary, Had the best week ever! My boyfriend took me on a surprise trip to Paris for the weekend. We went to my favourite Michelin Star restaurant and… wait for it… He proposed!”

I only do this once in a while, when I am relaxing in the park or in a cafe by myself. However I aim for once a week ideally.

Girl meditating on floor with wireless earphones

Another favourite of mine is simply visualising in itself. This is a kind of meditative task where you will deeply imagine what it’s like to live your dream life.

Although this is the easiest and least effort technique, those 5-20 minutes of visualisation meditation each day will do wonders for your mindset and determination.

The best thing for this is guided meditations/visualisations on Spotify or Youtube. I’ve gone through a lot now and found ‘Rising Higher Meditation‘ to be the number 1 people at making this stuff! Click here for their Youtube channel, and here for their Spotify.

Or check out my own Spotify playlist of personal favourite meditations for manifesting your perfect self, daily lifestyle, partners, home and money here.

Positive girl feeling good giving off good vibes

Last, and definitely not least is simply acting, thinking and treating yourself as if you are already living your dream lifestyle. This can be the most impactful as it can really change your whole perspective on day to day things and raise your awareness of opportunities that you would usually overlook.

It’s all about appreciating each day and enjoying the journey to manifesting your dreams. Act as if you got it all already because you do! It’s all on it’s way to you, just a matter of time before you receive it.

Think and act:

  • How does your dream self feel leaving the house in the morning?
  • How do they walk down the street?
  • How productive is he/she in the mornings?
  • How do they react to something bad happening?
  • How is their diet/exercise?
  • How do they make others feel?

As you close your front door imagine you are leaving your dream home which you will return to later that day and when you are on your way home after work visualise that dream home you are returning to!

It is true that through daily practice of these techniques you will naturally bring all the incredible things into your life that you deserve. It’s all about sending off the right signals each day that influence the world around you, consequently creating opportunities that wouldn’t have come up otherwise. What you put out will reflect back into your life like a magnet! Read my post on the science behind law of attraction here.

APPENDIX: Useful tools

Youtube is full of inspiration for your lifestyle visualising. Watch videos from people who live in the place you want to, or have the kind of style/personality you aspire to have, or just generally make you feel excited about life.

Pinterest is the ultimate visual resource for manifesting! Create online boards for each specific part of your dream life you are manifesting.

Reading is another essential part of getting inspired. This is where the manifestation movement truly started; The Secret, The Law of Attraction, and Think and Grow Rich are some of the founding fathers in this topic. If you are interested in mindset, motivation and success there are countless books out there to inspire you.

So that’s it all! Which technique is the best for you? Write in the comments what you are manifesting to affirm what’s on it’s way to you!
